Taylor Swift Returns to Arrowhead as Chiefs Open NFL Season Against Broncos

KANSAS CITY — Taylor Swift returned to Arrowhead Stadium Monday night as the Kansas City Chiefs opened their NFL season against the Denver Broncos.

The global music superstar was in the stands supporting Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, marking the first time she attended one of his games since the couple married over the summer.

And she wasn’t the only major celebrity in attendance.

Tom Cruise Joins Swift at Arrowhead

Actor Tom Cruise was spotted sitting alongside Swift as the Chiefs began their new NFL campaign in Kansas City.

Swift chose Arrowhead over attending the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, where “The Eras Tour: The Final Show” had received a nomination for outstanding variety special.

The appearance immediately became one of the biggest celebrity stories surrounding the opening week of the NFL season.

Chiefs Begin Another NFL Campaign

For Kansas City, however, the focus remains firmly on football.

The Chiefs entered the new season facing the Denver Broncos in an important early AFC West matchup.

Travis Kelce also returned for another season after deciding to continue his NFL career.

The veteran tight end has been one of the most recognizable players in American football and remains a key part of Kansas City’s offense.

Swift and the NFL Spotlight

Swift’s appearances at Chiefs games have attracted enormous attention since her relationship with Kelce became public in 2023.

Her return to Arrowhead adds another entertainment dimension to one of the NFL’s most closely watched teams.

With the new NFL season underway, Kansas City will once again be under a huge national spotlight — both on and off the field.
